MOTHERS OF COLOR

As we thought specifically about Black History in the month of February—I thought about the mothers of color who through no fault of their own struggled to keep their families together—to keep a roof over their heads--their children clothed and fed—and their bills paid. I, personally, know what it is to watch a mother struggle through all this; And I know personally the love of a woman like this. These mothers should have been celebrated during Black History Month ... and since we missed that opportunity, let’s thank God for them each and every day!
